The Viet Nam Vets / Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club are sponsoring the Third Annual Special Operations Warrior Foundation Kids to College Poker Run. The Special Operations Warrior foundation provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of Special Operations Personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families. Registration will be from 10 to 11 am at Poppas Pub, 2105 Diamond Springs Road Virginia Beach, VA 23455. Donation of $10.00 per Person is requested. Extra hands available for $5.00 The last stop of the event will at Grumpy’s Bar and Grill, 995 Providence Square Shopping Center on the corner of Kempsville and Providence roads Virginia Beach, VA 23464. At Grumpys Bar and Grill there will be door prizes, 50/50 Raffle, charity auction and Music by Common Ground. This Driver Village tradition is a TAMA sponsored ride benefiting the Sherri Parker Memorial Fund and the Driver Volunteer Fire Department. A $20 donation per person includes a complimentary t-shirt for the first 250 registrants. Poker Run registration is from 9:30am until 11am at Bayside Harley Davidson in Portsmouth. Parade of bikes will stage at Sleepy Hole Park in Suffolk at 12:30pm prior to ride into Driver at 1pm. Bike Show Registration 12pm-2pm in Driver Village. Door prizes and vendors. Rain date: TBA.
