Holiday Wreaths
A group of local and interested friends have jointed together each year to provide wreaths for each gravesite at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. We your support and help, we hope to continue this in coming years.
At present, approximately 4,000 wreaths are need for the 2012 holiday season, with more being added in future years. We hope you will consider making a contribution to this recognition of our veterans.
Please make contributions to the Horton Wreath Society, and mail to Horton Wreath Society Treasurer, 1401 Trapelo Court, Virginia Beach, VA 23456
If enough funds are not raised to place a wreath on every gravesite, wreaths will be placed in garden sections on a rotational basis.
This year’s wreath placement will be Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. The wreath laying ceremony will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the committal shelter.
